After a long time breeding of German shepard’s and after dying of our bitch Lana, we decided to change breed that our father started back in year 1960. We wanted to become owners of a breed that is every boys dream, to become owners of Sarplaninac. We started visiting dog shows, buying literature, visiting kennels. In deciding and looking for a puppy, few months passed by. Father got a book “Sarplaninci”, by Mr. Rade Dakic Kica, and calls “Od Bjelice” kennel, asking for male puppy, and from that day Kiko becomes member of our family.

In 2004 we took part at our first specialized Sarplaninac dog show, in Velika Plana. Kiko got the mark V2 in the category 9-12 months.

At that same dog show, we met Mr. Dragan Babic, and while talking, we told him that we were looking for a Sarplaninac bitch puppy. He kindly recommended us, to buy a puppy from Mr. Srdjan Dinic, as he had again a litter of Bona x Atlas Murko. We saw that day Atlas Murko on the dog show, which took part in the class of veteran's, but also his offspring from previous litter with Bona: Murko (that day he was the best of breed) and his sister Murka. The next week Sarplaninac bitch puppy, Mona came to our home.
